Essex Bike Trial- Round 6 (Shamley Green, Surrey) - October 2000 (Results Bellow) The penultimate round of the E.B.T.C championship was held near Guildford, an area which had been in the news for heavy flooding. However to the pleasant suprise of the riders the sections were dry, the sun was out and it all made for an exciting trial. The sections were all in the woods with the occasional rocky patch in some sections adding variety, also scattered through one or two of the sections were man made obstacles mainly old car tyres lodged into the ground although in one section eliete riders had to get up a huge concrete pipe about 4ft high, then coaster off the circular object, It caused big crashes for at least one of the riders. It was typical terrain of Britains original Bike Trial club. Results as follows............ (In the event of a tie the rider with most cleans won) Elite Class (7 riders entered)
Expert Class (16 riders entered)
Intermediate Class (40 riders entered)
Novice Class (8 Riders Entered)
Out Of Class 26" (14 riders entered)
