American Bunnyhop

With the standard bunnyhop you won't be able to get heights above 1 ft or so, If you have learned the bunnyhop and you still want to hop bigger then this is the move you'll need to dial

Step 1:. Roll along again at fast jogging pace or faster with cranks horizontal and best foot forward. Instead of just lifting the front and back wheel at the same time this time you have to lift both wheels in two stages to gain much more height.

Step 2:. When you feel ready Pull back on the handlebars to lift them up as high as you need, keep your weight middle to back of the bike and get ready for the next stage.

Step 3: Once you have lofted the front wheel up next you have to try and get the back wheel off as well, With your weight over the middle to back of the bike explosively use the tequnique shown in the bunnyhop to lift the rear wheel, try to get it so you manage to get the rear wheel as high as the front one, When you want to land push down with the feet for a smooth as possible landing.

Bullet Points

  • It is achieved in two stages, Front wheel lofted up first then the back wheel after the front wheel peaks
  • You need to have dialed the timing from the standard bunnyhop before attempting this.
